nexus24 Backs the Edge to Edge Expedition

Financial backing, creative expertise, drone footage and PR support - when nexus24 decided to get behind the Edge to Edge Expedition, they went all in.

As the Edge to Edge Expedition gathers momentum, we are shining a spotlight on the organisations helping us turn our biggest challenge yet into a reality, starting with Expedition Partner nexus24.

Making Good Stuff Great

Based in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, nexus24 is an integrated marketing, advertising and design agency working across Scotland and beyond. From branding, advertising and digital content to events, photography, video production and web, its team brings strategy and creativity together to help organisations communicate, grow and make an impact.

Their own philosophy is simple: “we’ve got your back.” And when it comes to Edge, they have certainly lived up to it.

From Edge Woods to Edge to Edge

nexus24 has been aware of Edge Group Scotland and our work for a while now, particularly through the development of the Edge Woods Project at Eskmills.

So, when Managing Director Graeme Hogge heard what we were planning for our tenth birthday - more than 50 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh over two days on one Mega-SUP - it caught his attention.

And nexus24 wanted to be part of it.

Graeme said:

“Nexus24 have been aware of the great work Edge Group Scotland do to assist young people for a few years now, especially with the Edge Woods Project at Eskmills. When we found out about this fundraising Expedition, we had to get involved.

“We have supported loads of fundraisers over the last 19 years and this just seemed a bit different, and loads of fun. We’re aware Edge Group Scotland doesn't get the same funding and support that charities do so this drove us even more to help in all ways we can.”

Going far beyond financial support

nexus24 joined the Edge to Edge Expedition as an Expedition Partner, providing valuable financial backing towards our £20,000 fundraising target for a third minibus.

But their involvement has very quickly become much more than that.

The nexus24 team is bringing its own expertise to the challenge, supporting our PR activity and helping us tell the story of the Expedition to a much wider audience.

They will also be helping us capture some of its biggest moments, with professional drone footage planned at key points including the Falkirk Wheel and our Edinburgh finish.

For a challenge built around real-world experiences, teamwork and people using their skills to make something happen, this kind of partnership feels particularly fitting.

Helping us take Edge further

The Edge to Edge Expedition is a major physical challenge, but the reason behind it is much bigger.

Our programme groups are playing an active role throughout the planning and delivery, while the funds raised will help us move closer to securing a third minibus; creating more opportunities for travel training, volunteering, real-world work experiences, outdoor activities and community-based learning.

Having organisations like nexus24 choose not only to support that aim, but to actively bring their own skills, experience and enthusiasm to the table, makes a huge difference.

We are incredibly grateful to Graeme and the whole nexus24 team for getting behind us, and for helping make an already ambitious Expedition even bigger.
